This last holiday season was made very memorable for our team as we assisted the New Life Fellowship Church in their blanket drive. We were overcome by joy as our local friends and clients gave generously, daily, dropping off blankets to our office. In a particularly cold winter, it’s very possible these blankets may have saved lives for those with little or no shelter at all. We look forward to doing it again!
Show & Shine
We’re proud to announce we will be a sponsor for the second annual Show & Shine on May 18thfrom 10am-4pm. Beer garden, games, prizes, give aways, and food will be the theme as we raise money for Barstow High School athletics and band.

Q: Should I require my tenant to carry renter’s insurance? Even if I already have my own insurance on the home? A: I strongly recommend you do require your tenant to carry their own insurance. Even if you have the world’s best tenant, the claims process is sometimes “messy”. Example: A pipe in your rental property bursts because of unusually cold weather, causing drywall damage, all of the laminate flooring is ruined and another $5,000 in damages to your tenants’ possessions. Not to mention the tenant will be displaced for a week while repairs are completed. Yes, your insurance will cover repairs to the flooring, drywall, loss of rents, etc.. However, your policy will not cover the tenant’s damaged property or pay for their lodging while repairs are being completed. Either way this is a major disruption for everyone. The claims process even with the best insurance companies has its complications. Reduce the pain by requiring your tenant to carry their own renters insurance.
